Beginner’s Training

Beginner’s training happens every Monday and Thursday evening at 6:00 pm from the Glendalough Hotel in Glendalough.

We currently have two levels of beginner runs:

  • 5 km run/walk on good trails (you can walk as much as you need) on an out and back course
  • Up to 1 hour easy

Once you can run an hour, you can attend other training runs if you wish although it’s best to build up to 1.5 hours easy before joining those runs.

During the winter months bring a head-torch.

Also keep an eye on our social running club with Wicklow Wolf Brewery which does Friday evening social trail runs once per month. Learn more about that here.
