Membership

We have the following membership options for the current year and you can register, transfer, and manage your membership on the Athletics Ireland portal: https://membership.athleticsireland.ie/

Adults	€45
Unwaged	€30

By default when you join Glendalough AC you are registered as a member of Athletics Ireland (who take €20 of the fee).

If you are a competitive runner, we recommend registering as Sli Cualann (our parent club) which allows you to compete in Leinster and National Championships.

If you are already a Glendalough AC member and want to transfer to Sli Cualann in the current year

We are not accepting junior memberships at this stage, but please let us know if you’re interested (they will be €30 or less). 

CLUB TRANSFERS

if you are transferring to or from Glendalough AC (including transferring from Glendalough AC membership to full Sli Cualann membership) then the Spring Transfer Window open from March 1st to March 20th for Athletes to initiate transfers.

Clubs can login from March 1st to March 23rd to either approve or decline transfers.
County Boards have access from April 1 st to April 30th to approve or decline transfers.

Affiliate membership via Wicklow Wolf

People joining directly via Wicklow Wolf RC are registered as Glendalough AC members only and treated as ‘affiliated members’ of Glendalough AC (unless you already have an Athletics Club in which case you should register with them for your Athletics Ireland number for the year).

We recommend that any WW RC member who starts regularly attending our other training sessions transfers to full membership in their second year of membership (at that stage you can pay a small add-on for the WW RC benefits and membership instead). Either way your total price will work out as the same.
