Two master’s PBs, a club record and two podiums last week as our runners took on a warm Docklands 5k, the Zuiderparkrun (again!) and the downpour at Grocer’s 5k.
DOCKLANDS 5K
Marcus Murphy continued last week’s action on Thursday at the Dublin Docklands running 18:58 (matching his M40 best mark from Streets of Wicklow in December) and running within 26 seconds of his all-time PB.

Richard Costelloe put in the season best 5k for our club with his 17:55 third place finish in Zuiderparkrun – the fastest 5 km time run for our club since 2020 (also then by Richard).

GROCER’S 5K
Aoife, Colm and Donna meanwhile travelled to the fast and low-key Grocer’s 5k and 10k event in Sandyford and it was a productive outing with 2nd place in the women’s for Donna and Aoife Joyce lowering her F45 club record from earlier in the year.
