BALLYHOURA WINTER CHALLENGE

James Heggie returned to his more familiar stomping ground of the long tough hills as he took on the 28 km night race in Ballyhoura this Friday past.

HOWTH WINTER

The morning after our first Wicklow Wolf run of the year saw only a duo of Glendalough runners make their way up to Howth where preparations had been disrupted by a disgruntled local removing marking ahead of the race but Eoin and Keith managed to get around with minimum incident. It was interesting to note that the winner of the race – Slaney’s Enda Cloake had also won the Ballyhoura Winter Challenge only about 13 hours earlier.
